I'm planning on being at BG this Wednesday with an ETA of 6-6:30. I'll be bringing WAS and A&A Minis with me. Rick, here is the info for the
next German Campaign.
10MAY1940 5:35 A.M. The German Offensive on the Western Front begins. The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg are invaded by German Army Group B. The
French 1st Army and the British Expeditionary Force cross into Belgium but are forced back and/or withdraw. They get surrounded at Dunkirk by the German 2nd
Armoured Division, Army Group A.
The German Twelfth Army, Army Group A assaults through the Ardennes (Southern Belgium along the Luxembourg border) into French territory. The French Second
Army abandons the right bank of the Meuse and digs in on the left bank. This allows the Germans to occupy Sedan and eventually force a crossing of the Meuse.
The German Sixth Army, Army Group A assaults into France and disperses the French 9th Army which is eventually captured at Le Cateau, a small town near
Cambrai.
These are the three Missions I have planned for the German Campaign in France.
