Posts: 251 (03/05/04 01:27:04) Swashbuckler Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None Well i am not an offical Price/demo guy for the card game... for some reason it is two diffrent parts to be a White Wolf RPG demo'er and a White Wolf CCG demo'er. but anywho i want to get more people going into this so we may have hug multi person games.... now i know myself, Josh, Earl and Rob simms play... i was wondering if anyone else know or would like to learn this game... let me know about your intrest and any quiestions here.... then we will set up either one huge demo game or private ones..... lets get this big enough for it's own section in the CCG subtitle "Mech or dagger, dead is dead" "follow the mad man in a world of insanity, in this world of darkness come walk the path of the blind man"

I was looking for something a little more intriguing that Magic (multiple meanings implied), but not involving more minis that I do not have time to paint. Anyway. . . I have a little experience from when it was Jihad, but I have noticed some changes. I guess my basic question is, does a starter deck give you the 12 minions and 60 (?) cards you need to play? I can I pick that up and get stuck right in?

Can you buy generic starters? I am not sure which direction to go and would rather start off with an open ended deck and go a specific path from there (even if it is less effective to start).

If I do not like it, I pick up another one. A few more queries. First, If I remember correctly, the powers are all a little lower key - so no one card is going to make or break a game, correct? A bit of a pet peeve of mine. Second, the card game is not one of the "world of darkness" products that is going to disappear as of a month from now, right?

Posts: 251 (03/15/04 20:04:51) Swashbuckler Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	nope, one card cannot make or break the game combos of cards can, but all cards are easily enough ashed. it is a WoD line.. in may they are coming out with a 'Gehenna" set of boosters, but they are not going to axe the line like the rest of the WoD... not too certain what is going to happen to V:tES, but my guess is they slowly start putting the sets out of print... or even make new ones or something "Mech or dagger, dead is dead" "follow the mad man in a world of insanity, in this world of darkness come walk the path of the blind man"

Can meet at the store on a given night once its posted on this site and agreed upon. I used to play out of Third Planet in Torrance, CA. They had a good VTES group out there be nice to get one going here in Mass.

Planned on playing in the Mordheim league in the early evening, but Ill be in the store if anyone wants to get a game going. I have 5 premade decks based arround a particular clan/style of play if people are interested. Vampire is much more fun as a group as it is designed more towards that style of play. Maybe I can catch you Imperium that afternoon...

Ill be hanging arround the store for mordheim in the evening but having a good multiplayer in the afternoon would be great if imperium and maybe a couple others interested in a new CCG are there. Battleground has the newest sets available in quantity it looks like for new players to get into the game. The new starters from what Ive opened look well balanced right out of the box. Some nice new cards in the set and some good old favorites.

I am not really up on all the rules, as I played in 1994-96 mainly and the game has exploded since then. If people know what they are doing, I can hang, but I would not really be able to teach new players just yet. Bron
