Looking for players

Looking for 1 or 2 more players for local gaming group, just starting. Not sure what the game is yet, though D&D 4e is a possibility. Group will be small; ideal players will enjoy role-playing (funny voices welcome!) and storytelling, with a balance of twisty plots and exciting combat. Wit and enthusiasm a plus!

Is anyone running a d20 modern game and has space or do you want to join a d20 modern game?
d20 modern is Dungeons and Dragons set in modern times. Instead of evil overlords you've got evil corporations, instead of goblins riding giant spiders to kill you there are goblins on motorcycles AND giant spiders to kill you. Also you're not running across country sides to goto a haunted mansion, you'll be taking the bus (or a car if you've got one) to an abandoned warehouse.......

We are going to be starting a role-playing campaign shortly and are looking for players. We will be playing Tuesday nights from about 6:30, probably every other week. This game rocks, still learning the rules but i really like it and no wonder, one of the games co-creators is non other than Margaret Weis, one of the founders of Dragonlance and creator of one of the most reviled heroes of all time, Raistlin Majere. As I learn more I will expound on the wonders of the system.

Has anyone actually [i]played[/i] Fireborn? Having read the reviews, I get the impression that the game will suffer from the same dice-bloated "success" system that afflicted Shadowrun... but I haven't seen the books themselves. It's entirely possible that the designers finessed the system.

This, of course, is the problem with buying new games, especially new systems -- there's almost no way to tell what you're getting without taking it home and trying it out, at which point...

How many systems does it take.

I wanted to start a thread like this mainly becouse i have soooo many difrent games its sick. It all started when i was in the army and i had the best group of gamers. We would switch off and every friday someone would bring a difrent game. Now i am addicted to learning and getting new systems. Lately i wanted Gurps and hackmaster. Now i am thinking of getting some of those anima RPG books. What do u guys think

Shadowrun game

There will be a biweekly set of Shadowrun game starting up this week. It will be Thursday nights, games starting at 7:00 or so - It will be a campaign in the sense of a series with the same characters (if they want) but every week's run will be stand alone. There is no problem if you have never played, just so up a little early and we can you get a character up and running.

Right now, the group interested needs a techie, so let me know if anyone is interested!

After many extensive hours of PC gaming I've finally come to the decision that I'm going to run a Fallout D20 campaign.
